Dr. Sayed Feghali was born in Beirut, Lebanon. He attended medical school and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the American University of Beirut. Dr. Feghali then moved to Houston, Texas for his Cardiology Fellowship and Interventional Cardiology Fellowship, which he completed at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital and the Texas Heart Institute.
Dr. Feghali is Board Certified in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology, and he has been practicing medicine in the Houston Medical Center since 1984. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and is the primary consulting cardiologist of the Liver Transplantation Board. He has been named a Texas Super Doctor in Texas Monthly every year since 2005. He is a clinical associate professor in internal medicine and cardiology at the Baylor College of Medicine.
Dr. Feghali has received various awards, including the Outstanding Cardiology Award and the Outstanding Teacher Award at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital and the Texas Heart Institute. He has travelled extensively as a guest lecturer, written various publications, and assisted with the development of several cardiovascular programs. Additionally, Dr. Feghali is well-versed in English, Spanish, French and Arabic.
